Phone's with Composition Rules

These are some of the pictures i took during class in the hallway. With the composition rules leading lines, pattern, symmetry, and rule of thirds

This picture has pattern, symmetry, and leading lines. The headphones are leading the subject phones, and the floor is pattern and symmetry.

This photo has leading lines, pattern, and symmetry. The pattern, and symmetry is in the background. Also the leading lines are in the background.

This photo shows leading lines because theres lines behind the girls. Pattern, and symmetry are shown on the floor, and it shows rule of thirds because the main focus isn't in the middle.

This photo shows pattern and symmetry because theres different patterns on the floor. The headphones are leading lines to the subject, and it shows rule of thirds because the main focus is not in the middle.

This picture show rule of thirds because the subject is not in the middle. In the background theres pattern and symmetry because of the phone, and its reflection. This also shows leading lines because the headphones guide your eyes to the subject.

Elements Of Art

In our school, Pittsburg High School there is examples all over the school of the seven types of elements of art. They are texture, color, shape, line, space, form, and some times pattern. For example there is different texture on the pirate. Also there is many examples of color all over the school like the different colors on the pirate, and the colors of the building. There are different shapes at school like the rectangular windows, the squares on the floor, and the circular fountain. Lines are found on the ramps walking up the stairs, and the benches.

Composition in Photography

Composition is a visual process of organizing the elements and individual details. There are five elements of composition they are pattern, symmetry, texture, depth of fields, and lines. When having a pattern in photography you need to emphasizing and highlight the pattern to make it stand out. Taking a picture with symmetry can be good if you have a strong composition and a point of interest. If you use a texture it can make the picture come alive and become three dimensional. The depth of the field that you selected when an taking image it will drastically impact the composition of the image. When using lines in a photograph it draws the eye to the main focus of the photo. Composition is all about putting together objects in your viewfinder to emphasize the bits you want.

Light

Light is great for taking photos. You can use light to make the picture brighter so you can see the main focus. But if you have too much light, it can make it so you can't see what the photographer wants you to see. When you look at someone in the light they become more luminous, especially if they are wearing lighter color clothes. Also when the person is wearing some kind of jewelry the light will reflect of that. When the light reflects of the person they become lighter and more alive. You can get light pretty much everywhere you go, like outside, a reflection of the computer, and from lamps found in your house.
